Equans U.S. Inc., a national provider of energy, digital, and industrial solutions, announces the acquisition of AdvanceTEC, a U.S.-based company recognized for its expertise in cleanroom design and construction, specializing in mission-critical process infrastructure. The transaction was completed on September 9, 2025.
Founded in 2000 and based in Richmond, Virginia, AdvanceTEC is a recognized leader in cleanroom design and construction, serving cutting-edge industries, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and microelectronics. With over 100 employees, AdvanceTEC delivers tailored, turnkey solutions using advanced technologies including 3D modeling, BIM, augmented reality, and 3D printing to tackle complex industrial challenges.
AdvanceTEC’s innovation capabilities are further strengthened by its prefabrication and modularization facility located in Clayton, North Carolina. This center enables optimized manufacturing processes, faster project delivery, and enhanced safety standards and operations.
This strategic acquisition strengthens Equans’s position in the high-growth cleanroom sector and enhances its ability to deliver fully integrated, turnkey solutions for controlled environment facilities in North America. The acquisition supports Equans’s ongoing commitment to providing innovative, high-performance environments for mission-critical operations and reinforces its engineering, prefabrication, and integrated solutions capabilities.
